Become a Neighbour Guide!

Viittakivi organises Neighbour Guide training in Helsinki. The training is aimed at immigrants who have lived in Finland for some time and are interested in working as volunteer Guides for new arrivals and helping them with living in Finland.

The Neighbour Guides are trained to be knowledgeable on social, ecological and economical living, familiar with separating rubbish, recycling, saving energy and water, safe living, creating good relations with neighbours and different ways of living. The training includes lectures and visits and is organised together with the Helsinki recycling centre.

The Neighbour Guide training is free, lasts 32 hours and you get a diploma. New groups are starting all year round in 2017 – you may join at any time. The training is in Finnish.
